New Year, New Possibilities

Every January brings the same energy: fresh starts, big dreams, and ambitious resolutions. But let's be honest—how many of those goals actually make it past February? At G3Women, we decided it was time to change that narrative. In Kano (January 2024) and Kaduna (January 2025), we hosted our Goal Setting & Vision Board Workshop, bringing together over 120 women ready to turn their 'New Year, New Me' dreams into reality with actionable, achievable plans.

More Than Just Setting Goals

This wasn't your typical goal-setting seminar filled with generic advice and motivational quotes. We dove deep into the SMART framework—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound goals. But we also added our own twist: SMART-ASS goals. Because sometimes, your ambitions need a little sass, a touch of audacity, and the courage to dream bigger than what feels comfortable.

The Vision Board Experience

Armed with magazines, scissors, glue sticks, and an abundance of creativity, participants crafted vision boards that reflected their authentic aspirations. These weren't just pretty collages—they were visual commitments. Career pivots, financial milestones, wellness journeys, relationship goals, business launches—each board told a unique story of what 2024 and 2025 could become.

Breaking Down the Big Dreams

The magic happened when we moved from dreams to action. Together, we broke down those big, sometimes intimidating goals into monthly steps. Participants left with workbooks filled with their personalized roadmaps—clear, actionable plans that transformed 'someday' into specific dates on the calendar. Want to launch that business? The Power of Community

What made these workshops truly transformative was the community we built in those rooms. Women shared their failures alongside their triumphs.
